With Jackloc cable window restrictors and steel folding window locks, windows can be left open to allow fresh air into the house, whilst providing peace of mind that the risk of falls is reduced, and security measures are increased.
For optimum security, the Titan by Jackloc folding restrictor is accredited by Secured by Design (SBD), the UK Police Crime Prevention initiative, and has Sold Secure status from the Master Locksmiths Association. These approvals ensure that you benefit from extra security for opening windows on ground floors, thus helping to prevent crime.
A window restrictor reduces the window opening to 100mm or less, allowing air in the room whilst reducing the risks of falls from an open window.
Our options include cable window restrictors, or a patented steel folding mechanism.
The restrictors have different release mechanisms depending on your needs. They can be permanently fixed to windows or come with a key, or with a keyless push and turn release mechanism to allow the restriction to be removed.
Our range of window safety devices has been tested to exceed all British Standard requirements by up to 10 times, reducing the risk of children accidentally falling against the window and breaking the restrictor.
